We coordinate with resort concierge teams before arrival to ensure the suite is prepared, the in-room details pre-set, and the couple's first evening planned without requiring decisions upon arrival. The entire transition from aircraft door to villa pool is managed without the couple handling a single form or waiting in any queue.
Siem Reap — Angkor at Sunrise, Private

We reserve a private sunrise position on the Angkor Wat causeway reflection pond — not the public viewing area. A senior guide and a professional photographer accompany the couple from 04:30 to 07:00. Images from the session are delivered to the couple's device by 10:00 the same morning.
Post-sunrise, breakfast is arranged at a private space within the Amansara property or, on request, in a pre-set breakfast area within the temple complex itself — a privilege available only through specific Ministry of Culture arrangements that FFGR Cambodia holds. Phnom Penh — The Romantic City
Phnom Penh's riverfront at dusk, seen from a private boat on the Mekong, is the city at its most beautiful. FFGR Cambodia operates a sunset river cruise on a restored wooden launch — capacity four maximum — with a private chef serving Cambodian canapés and the couple's requested wines. The cruise runs from 17:30 to 19:30, returning as the city lights are fully reflected in the river.
Dinner reservations for honeymooning couples in Phnom Penh are at Malis or The Chinese House — the two properties that can be booked for private dining without other guests present. We coordinate with each restaurant's event team to ensure the reservation includes candles, flowers, and a curated tasting menu developed for the couple's dietary profile.
The Coast — Koh Rong and the Private Beaches
Koh Rong Sanloem has a private beach arc on its western shore that can be reached only by chartered boat from the main island pier. Song Saa Private Island and Alila Villas Koh Russey both operate here. FFGR Cambodia coordinates the Sihanoukville–boat pier transfer and the return leg, with luggage handling throughout. No couple should be carrying bags between a vehicle and a boat.
For the beach extension of a honeymoon itinerary, we recommend three nights minimum: enough to decompress from the temple circuit, to swim in water with no one else on the beach, and to experience one full day of absolute nothing — which is harder to arrange than it sounds, and which FFGR Cambodia makes simple.

FFGR Cambodia sends all honeymoon clients a preference questionnaire thirty days before arrival: dietary requirements, wine preferences, music preferences, favourite flowers, preferred morning start time, any surprises to avoid or arrange. The responses shape every element of the itinerary from vehicle preparation to restaurant selection to morning activity timing.
For anniversaries, we arrange an in-car surprise at the moment of departure from the airport: a small gift relevant to the milestone — a piece from a Phnom Penh gallery, a bottle of Cambodian spirit from a boutique producer, a book about Angkor — presented without ceremony. The details are remembered.
The Seven-Night Cambodia Honeymoon Itinerary
Our standard seven-night programme: Nights 1–3 Siem Reap (Amansara), with Angkor sunrise + Tonle Sap private boat + Bensley-designed Shinta Mani dinner. Night 4 transfer to Phnom Penh (Four Seasons), with Mekong sunset cruise + Malis private dinner. Nights 5–7 Koh Rong Sanloem (Song Saa), with private beach day + snorkel charter + farewell dinner on the water.
All ground transfers are FFGR Cambodia vehicles. All internal flights (Siem Reap–Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville connections) are arranged and ticketed. All accommodation is pre-confirmed at preferred room category. The couple receives a single document — an itinerary card — not a folder of confirmation emails.
